Every home should have The Two Great Commandments and The Ten Commandments displayed. They are a reminder of who we are, God's children, who are called to love one another as family, and to spread the Word to the ends of the Earth.
Our renditions of The Two Great Commandments and The Ten Commandments shown here are handmade by our family. Our studio is in Red Bluff California, where we build original Judeo-Christian art in limited editions for homes, schools, and workplaces.
"Therefore, take these words of mine into your heart and soul. Bind them at your wrist as a sign, and let them be a pendant on your forehead. Teach them to your children, speaking of them at home and abroad, whether you are busy or at rest. And write them on the doorposts of your houses and on your gates, so that, as long as the heavens are above the earth, you and your children may live on in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers he would give them." Deuteronomy 11:18
God doesn't ask that we love Him or anyone else for that matter. He commands it. It is through our acceptance of this love that the world can be made a better place. One sacrifice was made that we may be redeemed, and we as imitators of that love must do the same.
Our way of life is under constant threat from those who are stripping society of faith based principles, icons, and rights. Children and grown-ups both are under a constant attack from those that seek to eradicate the Church, its teachings, and the message of salvation. When we confess our faith, we inspire others with affirmation of what we truly believe.
Jesus made reference to children many times to illustrate how we should believe. The simple nature with which children view God, his creation, and the Grace of Jesus Christ is really the hope of our world. Keeping the symbols of our faith available, understood, and valued builds a solid foundation for our children to rely on from birth through death.
